Using Baby Monitors in Childcare
I bought the best baby monitor for use in the childcare business that I operate in the basement of my house. Most people think that I would not need a baby monitor because my childcare is all in one room. However, I use the baby monitor when the infants are taking their morning naps. After I put them in their cribs and turn on the baby monitor, I take the older children in the back yard to play so that they do not need to be quiet while the infants are asleep. My basement has a door directly to the backyard, so I am not really very far from the sleeping infants. The older kids get to run and play, which is very important to their physical growth, and the infants get the sleep that they need for their bodies to grow. I do not even have to worry about it raining when we go outside because part of the patio is covered by the deck that is outside the kitchen door on the first floor.
